Transfer Applicants January 4 Tis no longer the Christmas season. But tis the season for transfers. Transfer applicants, its about that time when you should be deciding if you really do want to switch schools. Maybe switching schools isnt the right decision for you. Maybe, with time, youll come to love the school you matriculated to after high school. Maybe you had a bad experience with your girlfriend and its tainted your freshman yearbut blue skies are ahead for you at this very university. Dont be so quick to transfer. Unless youve already made your mind up and are intent on transferring. Maybe you didnt get into the colleges you had hoped to as a high school senior. Maybe you want more of an academic challenge. Maybe you think you can get into an Ivy League school now. Whatever the reason is, if you really want to transfer, the time has come to get serious and start working on those applications and the many college admissions essays. Your high school grades and scores are still going to matter. Your college coursework and your grades are going to matter big time. Your intellectual curiosity and unique talent(s) are still going to matter. And your admissions essays are still going to matter.
